About me

Hi there, my name is Ro (she/they). I’m a queer Massage Therapist residing in Portland, OR.

My passion for bodywork began with my own somatic healing journey in my mid 20s. I could feel the weight of everything I’d experienced in my tissues and talk therapy wasn’t quite getting to it. I knew I needed to heal though my body and turned to yoga, dance, breathwork, meditation, embodiment practices, plant medicine ceremonies, and bodywork. The impact was profound and I dove into somatics head first. In 2020, I studied Yoga asana and philosophy and in 2022, I was certified in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy. In 2024, I graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts, and became licensed as a Massage Therapist. These trainings greatly inform how I show up in a therapeutic setting.

I take a holistic approach to healing and wellness. With a belief in the body's innate ability to heal, I approach each session with a deep sense of reverence for the body's wisdom and resilience. I bring my trauma training to the massage table and am able to hold space for whatever arises. My massage style is a combination of Swedish, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Craniosacral Therapy and Thai Massage. I bring presence, pace and breath to all sessions.

When I’m not practicing bodywork, you can find me making art, running trails in the forest, practicing yoga, or basking in the sun with my cat, Peeko. I look forward to working with you.
