• I am working out of the Be Abundant Care Collective at 2031 SE Belmont St. Be Abundant is a trauma-informed, Queer, Fat Positive space. It is a mask-mandatory, scent-free space with a gender neutral bathroom. There is a parking lot with designated spaces and the office is located on the ground floor. There is a ramp to get to the bathroom. The bathroom is currently not ADA accessible, as the layout does not allow for a wheelchair to turn around (there are plans to change the layout soon to address this). My room has an extra wide massage table with a weight limit of 800 lbs and a hydraulic system for a more easeful time getting on and off the table.

  • Fo now I accept cash, venmo, zelle, apple cash, or check.

  • If a client is late for their appointment, the appointment will still end at the originally scheduled time and the client will be charged the full session amount. I am not able to extend appointment times to accommodate tardiness, thank you for understanding.

  • Please try to give as much notice as possible about needing to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If a client cancels their appointment more than 24 hours in advance, no fees will be applied. If a client cancels their appointment within 24 hours of the appointment time, a 50% of service price will be charged or within 6 hours, 100% of service price will be charged - HOWEVER, if the client can find a friend, family member or co-worker who wants to fill their place and take their appointment, they are welcome to do so.

Please note, needing to cancel due to illness still falls within these cancelation guidelines. Thank you for understanding that cancelations directly effect my income and need to have protections in place so that I can continue to do this work.

  • If a client fails to arrive for their appointment for whatever reason, the client will be charged the full session amount. A client is considered a ‘no show’ 20 minutes into an appointment time without communication.

  • Due to the nature of this work, safety and comfortability for all parties are among my highest priorities. From my end, there is zero tolerance for any sexually suggestive or explicit behavior or actions. Hate speech towards marginalized communities, aggressive behavior or comments, and other actions that breed discomfort will not be tolerated. If these situations arise, the session will end immediately and the client will be charged full price for the session. From the client’s end, I welcome any feedback on how I can make my practice feel like a safer space.

  • Thanks for inquiring! I include tips in my pricing structure to ensure I am paid a livable wage and to take the ambiguity out of the picture entirely. This helps us both relax into the therapeutic relationship and bodywork experience.

  • At this time, I do not accept insurance. Working with insurance companies can be difficult for a number of reasons including: time consuming, delayed and some times shockingly low pay, and dealing with insurance companies is generally a frustrating/confusing experience. I understand that this may be prohibitive, please see my sliding scale option.

  • Bodywork is expensive. I firmly believe that EVERY body deserves quality care. For this reason, I offer a number of sliding scale appointments per month for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ or folks struggling to make ends meet. Sliding scale prices are as follows:

    60 min: $70-$100

    75 min: $95-$125

    90 min: $120-$150

Email me with the service desired, length of treatment and sliding scale rate. No other questions asked.

  • At this time, I am occasionally masking during bodywork. If you would be more comfortable with masks being worn during your session, please let me know and I am happy to wear one. If you are experiencing COVID symptoms, or any other illness, please stay home. My health and the health of all my clients is of the utmost importance!

  • I have decided to remove in-home massage from my offerings because travel time, transporting my equipment and set up is physically demanding and takes considerable time. However, I recognize that for some folks, in-home massage is their only option. To clients who are unable to travel to me due to health, mental, financial or other accessibility reasons, please email me, as it is important to me that you have access to the care you need.

  • Thank you for treating your loved ones to the gift of self care!

Please email me at rootedspiritsomatics@gmail.com to purchase a gift card.

  • My passions are working with the nervous system, systematic regulation and trauma healing. My hope is that clients leave my office feeling deeply grounded and spiritually connected to their body - hence Rooted Spirit. Somatics refers to all things having to do with the body. Why didn’t I choose the words massage or bodywork? Because ultimately, I see my practice encompassing more than just hands on work. I believe we need a toolbox of skills to heal and work with our nervous systems. Stay tuned on more somatic offerings coming down the road.
